“To be human is to need others, and this is no flaw or weakness.” — Sue Johnson
About me
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #145571) currently working in private practice and addiction medicine. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. I completed my clinical training at Counseling West, where I practiced psychotherapy with individual adults, couples, families, children, and adolescents. I have training in psychodynamic, cognitive/behavioral, and body-based therapies, with special attention to an integrative psychodynamic and somatic approach.
I believe therapy is most transformative when care and attention are given to the unique, complex relationship between therapist and client. I view the therapeutic relationship as an environment where change is facilitated with tenderness, not force.
I am supervised by Margaret (Meg) Bezucha, LMFT #100194.
